I am in!!! one question what about those quicker daily drivers low 12 and 11"s not trying to be difficult but know I am faster than a 12.5 for sure and I dont trailer and it goes to work and gets kids and grosieries every week LOL

i should have my injectors by then so ill prolly sign up for the 12.5 index....

You are either going to have to slow it down a touch and run the 12.5s or go for the full on heads-up class.

I have a feeling that the 12.5 and 14.5 are going to be the biggest indexes.

I should be there, given the fact that everything lines up for me. should have left the screwed up 6spd in and ran the 12.5 class

Oh shit!!!! Thats my rotation weekend. I'm off work!!!! If I only had some D/R's and my new springs on I'd shoot for the 13.50 class.

As this event shapes up, I have a feeling that the 14.5 is going to be a very busy class.

This kinda goes along with this, and i think it would be a blast later in the year...

sometime toward the end of the summer when most have finally gotten their car dialed in somewhat from the summer runs, lets have a full out southwest missouri's fastest street legal car. As long as it is on DOT tires and can pass a missouri state inspection(i'll volunteer to do one on each car on the spot) then its in. Fastest car wins. it would be pretty much a test and tune kinda thing, but you could put all the challenges in there for different classes ya want, but still... Fastest car wins. I know we have the KOTS, but lets go far beyond that.

You'll have to talk to the Chances over at ORP to see if they would want that to run or not. I wouldn't be competing, of course, but I think that if enough people are interested in it they'll seriously think about anything.

My daily grinder and grocery/laundry car. My car is like this all the time will I be frown upon for my setup? Header, intake, short exhaust system with catalyst and a single seat conversion . If my setup will be consider bad manner I will still come watch, take pictures and video the event. Thanks

Does it have plates? Insurance? Most importantly, is it your daily driver? It's in.

Yes plates are on it, Yes its insured and definitely Yes its my only car I drive it everyday. Wow im in Well if im running its hard to see why alot of these other cars on the street scene are not competing in this event.

Devin, save me a parking spot at the midnight drags tonight. I'm grudge racing a guy in an LT1 car.

There is quite literally NO reason for ANY street car to not compete in this event. I am hoping we have a good turnout but if we don't, this is going to be a huge embarassment for all of us street car guys.

It pains me to say it but the biggest thing that is going to keep someone from racing is because there's a lot of people that prefer to race with their words instead of their cars. An event forces you to actually put it out there for everyone to see and there's some that just don't have the guts to do that.

I'll be getting there late, but Jason should be there in his Challenger. I'll talk to him about it.
