i show george respect just because in my mind he deserves it. anyone who will build a track in his backyard and operate it for over four and a half decades deserves my respect in my world. plus he's just cool.

Man I want to get down there sooo bad I cant stand it, but I have had some major changes in my lifestyle this past month 
Acutally good ones!!! It won't be long and I will have more time and $$$ to work on my stuff and spend more time with the fam 
It may be too late to go now, but you never know. I'm the type of guy that would just drive down there to see it again! |

Just remember that every week that place is open is one week LESS that it will ever be open.
Not to be morbid, but he's getting kind of old. He may up and decide someday that he's just too tired to run the track anymore, and that'll be that.

Since I watched something about this on Horsepower TV Iv always wanted to go. The map says its like 5 hr and 40 min from here..but It would still be something awsome to go do for a weekend trip.
