Well I wanna put the bottle on the car now (had a carb. plate system on the old IROC and had alot of fun with it) but I wanna know what you guys think is a decent system on the LS1. Should I go dry or wet?

lol thanks guys, I was leaning more towards wet than the dry but wanted to get afew opinions. Now I got a new problem! ... I think she is ticking! Never done it before till I done an oil change (Royal Purple 5/30 and a K&N filter) start up she hold around 50 psi and is good to go then when it warms up its a little below 40. Maybe go with a heavy weight than what factory asks for? I dont drive the piss out of it and thought maybe it was an exhaust leak and it sure isnt .. I cant tell if the belt tensioner is making noise (I know my old TPI IROC did abit ... kinda sounds like it but not) not tossing any codes as well (surely the knock sensor would pick it up if it was bad?) anywho wanted to pick everyone's brain abit here .. I'm on vacation this week and cant stop tinkering on it (done all my free mods ... found out abunch about the car that it had but didnt know, went to have my ac system fixed only to find out it leaks like a mofo and would cost a stupid amount of money so I went ahead and removed it .. dumb to some but I been doing two down and 55 since I was 16 so it dont bother me ... it has a radio and is all one color and not primered so that right there makes it a Caddy to me

You are either hearing valve train noise (less likely) or an injector has gotten loud (more likely).

You might also get the car into the darkest area you can find (do NOT shut the garage door!) and fire the car up and see if there is any discharges in the ignition system. If anything is sparking and causing the tick, you'll see it clearly.

In any event make certain that you know exactly what it is before you go adding power.

I love being right, but it sure doesn't help with my oversized ego!
