We only managed to catch a limited number of tower shots plus finish line shots at the Midnight Drags. Here are 3 races that include site members. Street Night/Midnight Drags are a success!

With around 170 cars on the track and enough spectators to fill the stands on both sides of the strip, the Midnight Drags Street Night was both a success and tons of fun.

THANK YOU to everyone to came out. This has been said before, but never more true: If if weren't for your support, this never would have happened.

Wes has OK'd a future schedule for Midnight Drags! We will be running on the second Saturday of the month, from Midnight until 3AM, for the rest of this year's schedule. Hot Damn!

Videos should start showing up Monday and Tuesday. If you went down the track, we probably have video of you, so make sure and have a look.

What is a colder spark plug and why would I need that?

It is not commonly known, but the primary mechanism for transferring heat out of an engine's cylinders and into its cooling system is through the spark plugs. Spark plugs are, of course, used as an ignition source for the fuel/air mixture in an engine but the cooling aspect is one that is often overlooked or even unknown.

This becomes especially important when an engine has advanced timing, or has been supercharged or turbocharged and is vitally important when nitrous is being used in an engine. So here is some information on heat ranges on spark plugs and how to understand when to install a colder plug, and how many heat ranges to adjust to.
