Motorized Mayhem Ensues...

I would like to head down to Paragould before it gets too late in the season this year. I've not been there in about 20 years!!! I will driving down from the Thayer/Mammoth Springs area. May be if we make plans early it can happen?

i'll have my car fixed in a few weeks, then i'm good to go, just let me know when.

Personally I would be afraid to go down there. The dude might shoot me for going too slow.

as serious as i get anyway. it is really slow, you should have to suffer through watching it.

I don't think I could make my car that slow. Seriously. That would be what... a 18 second 1/4 or something like that?

Maybe if I stuck my car in 2nd the whole way.

mine ran a 7.84 in first the whole way. the rev limiter hated me for it too.

I run an almost perfect 9 flat in the 1/8th, that could be fun.

i think 9.0 is a money class too. it really is a ton of fun. we should get as many of us together and see about going down there, camping saturday night and racing sunday. me and george get along great, and i doubt we'd have any trouble being allowed to camp again.

Man this takes me back!!! I'll try to get my stuff together and set up a couple of potential weekend options. Im bringin' the marshmallows

racing with a hangover sucks , but i had a good time the night before.

and all the trans related stuff should be here thursday. i still need to see what i destroyed in the rear end.

Do you usally drive or haul down / how far is it for you?

i trailer my car. 4 1/2 hours is what it took me last time.

If you are planning on going to G Rays. Time trials start at noon for all cars
and it doesn't cost anything to race. We have money classes at every half second
break from 9.00 down to 5.50
Trophy classes are 12, 11 and 10 seconds.
We will run every Sunday in October, weather permitting.
Always call before coming, it's about a four hour trip from Springfield, MO.

It's seven dollars to watch, kids under 12 are free.
Nothing to race. We start the races at 2:30 pm beginning with the 12 second trophy
class and work our way thru those folkes till they are done, then bring the in the
9 second class and work our way down to 5.50 class.
